                           JUDGMENT

The 1st petitioner is the holder of a regular permit in respect of stage carriage bearing registration No. KL-33/G 9963, which is valid up to 10.10.2028. He wants to transfer the permit in the name of the 2nd petitioner. The petitioners have submitted Ext.P2 joint application before the 1 st respondent for the said purpose. The grievance of the petitioners is that the 1st respondent has not yet considered Ext.P2 application.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the 1 st respondent to take a decision on Ext.P2 joint application submitted by the petitioners at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, WPC No.17199 of 2024 3 by resorting to circulation under Rule 130 of the Kerala Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
