                   JUDGMENT

The application for temporary permit given by the petitioner was rejected mainly on the ground that another Stage Carriage Operator has been issued with a temporary permit in the very same vacancy.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the temporary permit issued to the said Stage Carriage Operator is valid only till 09.05.2024 and therefore, there can be no legal impediment for the respondent in considering Ext.P2 application for the subsequent period commencing from 10.05.2024.

3. It is upto the petitioner to file a fresh application seeking temporary permit for the period commencing from 10.05.2024. If such an application is filed, the respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the same in accordance with law.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
