                              JUDGMENT

(Dated this the 27th day of June, 2024) A.MUHAMED MUSTAQUE (J) The claimant is the appellant. The Reference Court awarded Rs.24,17,100/- Per Are as against the compensation awarded by Land Acquisition officer at Rs.2,20,668/- per Are. This Court in similar batch of matters, enhanced the compensation and refixed the land value at Rs.29,36,908/-.

In the light of the enhancement made in similar matters and calculation made proportionately in tune with judgment in L.A.A No.7/2016 and connected matters, the land value will have to be fixed at Rs.29,36,908/- per Are. However, the appellant will not be entitled for the interest for the period of delay of 2152 days i.e. the delay in filing the appeal and delay in representing the appeal. The court fee due shall be paid within one month.
