JUDGMENT

This appeal is preferred by the claimant. The delay of 2526 days in filing the appeal was condoned on condition. In this matter, the Land Acquisition Officer awarded compensation at Rs.2,26,792/- per Are. This was enhanced to Rs.24,17,100/- per Are by the reference court. This Court in LAA No.7 of 2016 enhanced to Rs.30,18,413/- per Are.
2. Following the above judgment, the compensation is refixed at Rs.30,18,413/- per Are. However, we make it clear that the appellant will not be entitled to the interest for the period covered by the delay of 2526 days in respect of the enhanced compensation. The balance court fee shall be paid within a period of one month from today.
This appeal stands disposed of.
