ORDER
This Transfer Petition has been filed to transfer O.P.(H.M.A) No. 179/2022 pending on the files of the Family Court, Kottarakkara to the Family Court, Kollam.
2. I have heard Sri. Saju J. Panicker the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. Alexander George, the learned counsel for the respondent.
3. The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is the husband. O.P(H.M.A) No. 179/2022 has been filed by the respondent against the petitioner for divorce. M.C. No.61/2024 filed by the petitioner against the respondent is pending before the Family Court, Kollam.
According to the petitioner, she is an advocate practicing at Kottarakkara. However, the respondent contends that, she is practicing at Kollam. Considering these submissions, I am of the view that both cases can be transferred to Family Court Punalur. Hence, O.P. (H.M.A)No.179/2022 and M.C.No.61/2024 are withdrawn from the Family Court, Kottarakkara and Family Court, Kollam respectively and transferred to Family Court Punalur for trial and disposal.
This Transfer Petition is disposed of as above.
