of 220 days in filing this appeal.

There is a delay of 220 days in filing the appeal. The petitioner seeks to condone the delay on the ground that he has been in jail since the date of his conviction and he did not have sufficient means to engage a counsel in time.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor, I am of the view that the reasons stated are sufficient to condone the delay. Hence, this petition is allowed and the delay is condoned. Crl.Appeal No.949 of 2024

Admit.

The learned counsel for the petitioner to hand over a physical copy of the impugned judgment to the learned Public Prosecutor.
