JUDGMENT
Petitioner's son was granted emergency leave for a period of five days for the demise of his father. At the intervention of this Court, the said period was extended by further two days. Now the petitioner has approached this Court seeking another emergency leave for a period of five days for her son to participate in the prayer meeting on the 30 th day. An application has been filed before respondents 2 and 3 for grant of the said emergency leave.
2. After hearing Adv.Saipooja, appearing for the petitioner as well as Sri.Noushad K.A., the learned Public Prosecutor, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of with a direction.
Since Ext.P5 representation is pending before the Superintendent of Central Prison, Viyyur, there will be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5 application on or before 25.02.2024.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
