Application praying that in the circumstances stated therein, the
High Court be pleased to suspend the sentence in against the judgment of
conviction and sentence in C.C. No. 2998/2016 of Judicial First-Class
Magistrate (Temp.) Neyyattinkara registered for offences punishable under
Sections 341, 354, of IPC and to release the Applicant/Appelant/Accused on
bail.
This Application coming on for orders upon perusing the application,
and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. RAJITHA V.K, P.ANOOP (MULAVANA),
Advocates for the petitioners, and of the PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the
respondent, the Court passed the following:
ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
The sentence imposed as against the petitioner, which has been modified in Crl.A. 153/2020, shall stand suspended subject to execution of a bond for Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) by the appelant with two solvent sureties each for the likesum, and on deposit of the fine amount before the trial court within a period of 30 days from today.
