JUDGMENT
The petitioner is a stage carriage holder on the route Cherplassery - Natyamangalam. The vehicle which was covered by the permit was KL 09 P 4546, which is a 2004 model vehicle. The application for renewal submitted by the petitioner was sanctioned by the respondent with a rider to produce the current records of the vehicle KL 09 P 4546. The petitioner submitted Ext.P5 application for replacement. The limited prayer of the petitioner is to give a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P5 application.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P5 application for replacement without insisting for current records of the vehicle within 2 months. The petitioner shall clear off the entire tax due of the vehicle, if any, within that period.
