Prayer for interim relief in the Writ Appeal stating that in the
circumstances stated in the appeal memorandum, the High Court be pleased
to stay the operation of the order dated 17/1/2023 in OP No.76/2018 issued
by the 2nd respondent, pending disposal of the writ appeal.
This writ appeal coming on for orders on 23.4.2024 upon perusing
the appeal memorandum, the court on the same day passed the following:

Admit. Adv. Deepu Lal Mohan takes notice for the 2nd respondent. Adv.K.C.Vincent takes notice for the 1st respondent.
The Learned standing counsel for the Election Commission submits that, as of now, there is no proposal to conduct by-election to the seat that will fall vacant consequent to the petitioner's disqualification. THis is recorded.
