Application praying that in the circumstances stated therein the
High Court be pleased to pass an order suspending the sentence imposed on
the Petitioner by Judgment dated 28/04/2022 of the Judicial First Class
Magistrate Court - II, Kayamkulam in C.C.No.01/2018 as confirmed by
Judgment dated 29/11/2023 of the Addl.Sessions Court - III, Mavelikara in
Crl.Appeal No.71/2022, pending disposal of the above Criminal R.P.
This application coming on for orders upon perusing the application
and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. RINNY STEPHEN CHAMAPARAMPIL, ASHA
ELIZABETH MATHEW, ANJANA S., NEENA ELISABATH ANTONY, Advocates for the
petitioners and of PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the first respondent, the Court
passed the following:
ORDER
Sentence imposed on the petitioner is suspended on condition that the petitioner will execute bond for Rs.1,00,000/- with two solvent sureties for the like sum to the satisfaction of the trial court. Petitioner will also deposit an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) within three months.
