JUDGMENT
The application for mining plan submitted by the petitioner was approved on 12.06.2023. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for approval for a laterite building stone quarry. The application was placed before the 1 st respondent (the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee). Aggrieved by the non consideration of the application, the petitioner has approached this Court with the above writ petition.
2. When this case is taken up today, the learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent submits that the petitioner's case will be considered in the next meeting and also seeks six weeks' time to take a decision on the request of the petitioner.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's case in the WP(C) NO. 15137 OF 2024 3 next meeting and pass orders within a period of six weeks, after the decision is taken by the Committee.
