Application praying that in the circumstances stated therein the
High Court be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed upon the revision
petitoner in Judgment dated 18.12.2023 in Crl.A.No.268/2018 on the files
of the Addl.Sessions Court - IV, Thalassery, in judgment dated 27.11.2018
in CC.No.3190/2013 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate
Court, Mattannur, pending the revision.
This application coming on for orders upon perusing the application
and upon hearing the arguments of Sri.CIBI THOMAS, Advocate for the
petitioner and of PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the respondents, the Court passed
the following:
ORDER
Allowed, subject to the condition that the petitioner deposits before the trial court the fine amount imposed by the Appellate court within a period of one month from today.
