The petitioner, while working as teacher in Vishnumangalam LP School which is an aided school, was appointed as the Teacher- in-Charge for a particular period as per Ext.P1 when there was vacancy of Headmistress. Later, she relinquished the claim for appointment as Headmistress as per Ext.P2. However, the relinquishment of promotion tendered by the petitioner as Headmistress and to permit her to continue as LPST was declined as per Ext.P3 and P4 by the by the AEO as well as the Manager respectively. Limited prayer sought by the petitioner is for a direction to the 1 st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, I am inclined to dispose of this writ petition.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to take up Ext.P7 and pass appropriate orders WPC.No.15122/24 4 thereon in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner, 4 th respondent and other affected parties, if any.
