JUDGMENT
Dated this the 11th day of April, 2024 The petitioner has approached this Court aggrieved by the demand of payment of higher fee for enrolment by the Bar Council of Kerala, he being a retired Government servant.
Petitioner challenges Ext.P3 notification and the amendment of Rule 2(a) of Chapter V of Bar Council of Kerala Rules. On 06.10.2017, this Court passed an interim order in his favour and on the basis of the same he got enrolled on 17.12.2017.
2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has no further grievance to be redressed. The learned counsel appearing for the Bar Council also submitted that the writ petition can be closed as the petitioner has already enrolled.
Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition.
Writ Petition is accordingly closed.
