This contempt case is one filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of the directions contained in the judgment of this Court dated 28.10.2019 in W.P.(C)No.23021 of 2018 insofar as it relates to display of registration marks in motor vehicles, as per the requirements of Rules 50 and 51 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989. The respondent Transport Commissioner has sworn to an affidavit dated 06.03.2024 in which reference has been made to compliance reports filed in W.P.(C)No.23021 of 2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to file reply affidavit.

3. Four weeks' time granted.
