JUDGMENT
The petitioner prays that respondents 2 and 3 be directed to publish the results of 5th and 6th semester examinations, as also the improvement/supplementary examination of the 5th semester of the course involved in this case, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The afore request of the petitioner, made by his learned counsel - Sri.C.K.Sreejith, was answered by the learned Standing Counsel for the Kannur University - Sri.I.V.Pramod, saying that he has no instructions whether the afore results have already been published; but that if it has not been done, there does not appear to be any legal impediment in doing so, provided all statutory requirements and imperatives are complied with.
Taking note of the afore submissions, I order this Writ Petition, directing the competent Authority of the 3rd respondent
- University to hear the petitioner, if there is any impediment in publication of the results of 5th and 6th semesters including WPC 32323/19 3 improvement/supplementary examination of the 5th semester of the course; and to publish the results of same, if it has not been done so, without any avoidable delay.
If, for any reason, it is found that petitioner's results cannot be published, he shall be intimated of the same, so that he can then invoke appropriate remedies in law as may be available to him. However, this shall be done only after adverting to all documents to be produced by him in substantiation of his plea that he has been exonerated from the criminal case.
