                           JUDGMENT

The writ petition has been filed seeking payment of loan dues in easy installments. The Standing Counsel for the respondent has filed a statement stating that the total liability comes to Rs.10,27,500/- in two loan accounts and the over due amount comes to Rs.7,39,500/-. It is submitted that the 6th respondent has no objection to the petitioner paying the amounts in six equal monthly installments. The petitioner seeks 12 months installments.

In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- on or before 23.06.2022 and a like sum on the 23rd of the succeeding two months. In the meanwhile, the petitioner may approach the respondent for settling the entire arrears in one time settlement and if the petitioner is regularly paying the installments as directed by this Court, WP(C) NO. 10152 OF 2022 3 the respondent may consider the request made by the petitioner for one time settlement and the parties may endeavour to arrive at a settlement before the three months period above stated. Coercive steps will be kept in abeyance in the meanwhile.
