                                 ORDER

Dated this the 20th day of May 2022 The petitioner is the accused in CC No.201/2019 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Ernakulam. Now the case as against the petitioner has been converted into long pending case as LP No.9/2021.

2. According to the petitioner, he was in Gulf and hence he could not appear at the court below. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner has come down to India and he is prepared to surrender before the court below and will co-operate with the proceedings. The limited prayer of the petitioner is to give a direction to the learned Magistrate to consider his bail application and dispose the same on the same date.

3. Having heard both counsel, this Crl.M.C is CRL.MC NO. 3083 OF 2022 3 disposed of as follows:-

1. The petitioner shall surrender before the learned Magistrate within a period of one week from today.
2. The bail application, if any, filed by the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of by the court below on merit on the same day itself.
3. The Non Bailable Warrant, if any, pending as against the petitioner shall be kept in abeyance till the bail application is disposed of.
