                             JUDGMENT

The petitioners seek permission to pay off the outstanding arrears in equal monthly instalments.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents on instructions, submits that the amount overdue is Rs.1,61,048/-.

3. In view of the limited prayer made in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to pay off the overdue amount in six equal monthly instalments. The first instalment shall be paid on or before 10.06.2022 and the subsequent instalments on or before the 10th of the succeeding months. Once the petitioners pay off the outstanding dues, the respondents shall take up the matter for regularising the account and do the needful. If the petitioners commit default in payment of two continuous instalments, the respondents are free to proceed with the recovery. Along with the monthly instalments towards the overdue amount, the petitioners shall also pay the regular monthly instalments towards the housing loan.
