JUDGMENT
Against the rejection of their application for licence by Ext.P3, the petitioners have preferred Ext.P4 appeal before the Municipal council under Sec.509 of the Kerala Municipalities Act. The petitioners seek expeditious disposal of Ext.P4 appeal and also a direction that they may be permitted to continue with their business.
2. Having regard to the fact that the petitioners are conducting a petty shop selling tea, coffee and cool drinks, I direct that pending consideration of Ext.P4 appeal by the Municipal council, the petitioners will be permitted to conduct the shop upon the same conditions as in Ext.P1 licence. It is also ordered that Ext.P4 shall be disposed of within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions.
