                            JUDGMENT

The petitioner submitted an application for regular permit on the route Varkala Temple - Parippally. Though the said application was considered in the meeting held on 2.2.2012, the RTA adjourned the matter to ascertain whether the overlapping is inevitable or not. The prayer of the petitioner is for direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the request for prior concurrence.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. The learned Government Pleader on instructions, submits that the decision of the RTA on the application of the petitioner was received by the 4 th respondent only on 23.6.2022 and steps are being taken to forward the same to the RTA, Kollam for concurrence and the report is awaited.

The learned Government Pleader would submit that the request for prior concurrence as sought for by the petitioner will be considered by the respondents 1 and 2 within a period of six weeks from the date of receiving the report from the RTA Kollam. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to WP(C) NO. 20721 OF 2022 3 consider the request of the petitioner for concurrence within 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.

With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
