This Contempt of court case (civil) having come up for orders on
24.06.2022, the court on the same day passed the following:
ORDER
Shri.Jagan Abraham. M.George- learned counsel for the respondent submits that his client will attempt substantial payment soon. He submitted that he is asking for time because the respondent is going through extreme financial crisis even now and has other liabilities.
Whatever be the excuses that the respondent may say, the fact remains that the judgment has to be complied with within a reasonable time frame.
I, therefore, adjourn this matter to be called on 15th July, 2022; within which time, if a minimum amount of Rs.50. Lakhs is not paid to the petitioner, the respondent shall remain present before this Court to explain.
