                          JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the holder of Ext.P1 regular permit on the route Muttichoor - Govindapuram, which was valid till 24.04.2021. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 application for renewal of Ext.P1 permit after its expiry, along with an application for condonation of delay. Pending the application for renewal of Ext.P1 permit, the petitioner has also submitted Ext.P5 application for temporary permit. The grievance of the petitioner is that Ext.P2 application for renewal of regular permit as well Ext.P5 application for temporary permit are not so far considered by the respondents.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider Ext.5 application for temporary permit, treating the application WP(C) NO. 20682 OF 2022 ..3..

as one filed under Section 87(1)(C) of the Kerala Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear that I have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter pending before the respondent.
