 WP(C) NO. 7263 OF 2022 2

                           JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who retired from the services of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2018, alleges that an amount of Rs.25,728/-, as reflected in Ext.P2 letter, has not yet been paid to him. He, therefore, pleads that the competent Authority of the KSRTC be directed to disburse to him the afore amount, with interest, without any further delay.

2. However, the learned Standing Counsel for the KSRTC

- Sri.Deepu Thankan, responded to the afore submissions of Sri.N.Sasidharan Unnithan - learned counsel for the petitioner, saying that the entire amount has already been remitted into the bank account of the petitioner.

3. Sri.N.Sasidharan Unnithan, however, replied that, going through the account statement obtained by his client from the Bank, specific heads of credit are not seen and therefore, that it is difficult for him to verify the accuracy of the afore statement.

In the afore circumstances, I leave liberty to the WP(C) NO. 7263 OF 2022 3 petitioner, after verification of his account, to approach the 2 nd respondent - Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer with an apposite representation, appending to it a copy of the account statement which he has obtained from his Bank, if he feels that any further amounts are due; in which event, the said Authority will consider the same and verify the accounts and then disburse any further amounts that may be due to him, without any avoidable delay, but not later than one month from the date on which the afore representation is made by the petitioner.

This writ petition is thus ordered.
