                          JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

"(i) issue a writ of mandamus any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 1 st respondent to ensure that amounts sanctioned by him as per exhibit P1 are actually paid to petitioner by the 2nd respondent; and

(ii) issue a writ of mandamus any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 2nd respondent to pay the outstanding amounts due to the petitioner for the work of construction of Ponpally bridge, and

(iii) issue a writ of mandamus any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 2nd respondent not to continue or commence any other work without paying the outstanding amounts due to the petitioner for the work of construction of Ponpally bridge, and

(iv) pass such other and further orders deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case; and

(v) award the costs of the petitioner in these proceedings."[SIC] WP(C) NO. 26003 OF 2012 3

2. When this writ petition came up for consideration on 27.11.2012, this Court passed the following order:

"Though notice has been served, none appears for the Panchayat.

There shall be an interim direction to pay the amounts due to the petitioner as per Ext.P1, from the funds already released to the said authority within a period of three weeks."

In the light of the same, nothing survives in this case.

Therefore, this writ petition is closed making the interim order dated 27.11.2012 as absolute.
