JUDGMENT
The above writ petition is filed with following prayers :
"(i) issue a writ of Mandamus or such other writ, direction or order compelling the 2nd respondent to consider Exts P2 and P3 applications, affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court;
(ii) declare that the status of land in BTR in respect of 19.65 ares in Survey Nos.17/14, 17/12, 16/9, Block No.26 of Kizhakkambalam Village, Kunnathunad Taluk, Ernakulam District is liable to be changed without insisting for payment under Section 27A of Act 28 of 2008;
(iii) issue such other writ, direction or order as is deemed just and necessary in the facts, features and circumstances of the case." [SIC]
2. When this writ petition came up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that Ext.P4 is a petition filed before the 5th respondent and no orders are passed. There may be a direction to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance to law, within a time WP(C) NO. 8849 OF 2021 3 frame. Heard the learned Government Pleader also.
3. After hearing both sides, I think there can be a direction to the 5th respondent to consider Ext.P4 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame.
Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with the following direction :
1) The 5th respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders in Ext.P4 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
