                             JUDGMENT

Dated this the 3rd day of June, 2022 The petitioner is before this Court seeking to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application as expeditiously as possible.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader representing the respondent.

3. The petitioner has made Ext.P1 application invoking Rule 27 of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2015. Ext.P1 being a statutory application, the respondent is duty bound to consider it within a reasonable time, in accordance with law. WP(C)No.17526/2022 3 In the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P1 application submitted by the petitioner and take a decision thereon within a period of two months.
