                                     JUDGMENT

This writ petition is filed seeking directions to respondents 1 and 2 to afford adequate protection to the petitioner and his family and for the smooth functioning of Velliyur AUP School without obstruction from respondents 3 to 5 and their supporters.

2. Notice was taken out to respondents 3 to 5 by special messenger and an interim order was passed directing the 2 nd respondent to afford adequate protection to life of the petitioner and for the peaceful functioning of the school.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the issue stands resolved and that the protection had been granted.

In the above view of the matter, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. This writ petition is accordingly closed. However, in case the petitioner faces any threat or obstruction from respondents 4 and 5 or anybody claiming through them, the petitioner shall inform the Station House Officer, who shall afford adequate protection to the life of the petitioner.
