                          JUDGMENT

Dated this the 1st day of June, 2022 The petitioner, who is running a slaughter house and meat stall, has approached this Court seeking to direct the respondent to consider Ext.P4 application for licence for conducting slaughter house and meat stall, within a time frame.

2. When this writ petition came up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel representing the respondent-Grama Panchayat submitted that in response to the application received from the petitioner, the petitioner has been required to produce Consent from the Pollution Control Board. If the petitioner produces the Consent, the application can be processed further.

3. The petitioner submits that he is ready and willing to produce Consent from the Pollution Control Board.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to produce Consent issued by the Pollution Control WP(C) NO. 13006 OF 2022 3 Board for running slaughter house and meat stall. If the petitioner produces such Consent, the respondent shall consider the application for licence expeditiously.
