JUDGMENT
This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs: -
i. To issue a writ of certiorari or other appropriate writ, order or direction to call for the records leading to Exhibit P.12 and quash the same:
ii. To declare that the petitioner is eligible to be considered for the selection of Melsanthis in pursuance of Exhibit P2 and P3 Circulars as per the guidelines of Exhibit P.1 transfer norms.
iii. Direct the respondents 1 to 3 to accept the applications Exhibit P.4 to P.10 submitted by the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had preferred an application pursuant to Ext.P2 circular for appointment to the post of Melsanthi of the major Devaswoms of Malayalappuzha and Chettikulangara. It is submitted that his application has been WP(C) NO.22045 OF 2022 3 rejected by Ext.P12 communication by the 3 rd respondent on the ground that he did not have the required experience.
4. The learned standing counsel appearing for the Board submits that any complaint with regard to inclusion in the list is to be submitted before the 2 nd respondent and since the petitioner has a complaint that the rejection of his application was bad, if he approaches the 2nd respondent, his contentions will also be considered.
In the above view of the matter, there will be a direction that in case the petitioner approaches the 2 nd respondent with the representation pointing out his grievances as against Ext.P12 within two days from today, the same shall be duly considered by the 2nd respondent before the list is published.
This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
