JUDGMENT
Dated this the 7th day of July, 2022 This writ petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents to consider Exhibit P3 application submitted by the petitioner for compassionate appointment. It is submitted under the Dying in Harness Rules.
2. It is submitted that the petitioner is the son of late N.Dhanwandharadas V., who passed away on 29.09.2021 while working as 'Shanti' in the Madathunkara Mahadeva Kshethram, Mannancherry, Alappuzha. It is submitted that the petitioner has approached the respondents with Exhibit P3 application for employment under the Dying in Harness Rules. It is submitted that Exhibit P3 is supported by Exhibit P1 Death Certificate and Exhibit P2 Legal Heirship Certificate.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for W.P.(C)No.20225 OF 2022 3 the respondents submits that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in the order of seniority depending on the date of death of the deceased employee. It is further submitted that the eligibility and qualification of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the norms for appointment under the Scheme .
In the above view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing that Exhibit P3 application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in the order of seniority as stated above as also in accordance with the norms governing such appointments.
This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
