OP (CAT) praying inter alia that in the circumstances stated in the
affidavit filed along with the OP (CAT) the High Court be pleased to stay
the operation of P-4 order of the Central Administrative Tribunal pending
final disposal of this Original Petition.
This petition coming on for orders on 06/07/2022, upon perusing the
petition and the affidavit filed in support of OP (CAT) and this court's
judgment dated 18/07/2017, and upon hearing the arguments of SRI.SHAFIK

ORDER
A.K.JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR,J When this matter was taken up today, it is brought to our notice by the learned counsel for the petitioner that by a response dated 06.10.2017 to an RTI query of the petitioner, the Departments of Posts had indicated that there were vacancies pertaining to the year 2013, 2011 and 2015 at Kalady, Paravoor, Thottakkattukara and Muvattupuzha HO respectively. It is the contention of the petitioner that, on account of the directions issued by this Court in the judgment dated 18.07.2017, read with the order in the contempt of court case on 20.02.2018, he ought to have been accommodated to one of the aforesaid vacancies as against the 2016-17 vacancy to which he was eventually appointed by an order dated 31.01.2018.
Learned Assistant Solicitor General seeks time to get instructions on this aspect.
