JUDGMENT
On the basis of an application submitted by Rangaswamy Chettiar, Nediyilethu house, Kayamkulam to the electricity department for supplying electric connection, petitioner Mini Mary Jacob is aggrieved and had submitted a request to the Additional District Magistrate, Alappuzha Ext.P4 dated 30.06.2022.
2. As per the regulations and other bye laws of electricity as and when some objections is raised to the electricity department, it is the duty of the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) to decide the matter.
3. Learned Standing counsel for the Kerala State Electricity Board submits that the applicant has already been directed to appear before the ADM and ADM will decide the matter in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner. He says that the ADM is already seized of the matter.
WP(C) NO. 22030 OF 2022 -3- I dispose of the writ petition by issuing directions to the ADM to decide the application of Rangaswamy Chettiar and of the petitioner, in accordance with law and thereafter pass orders. All the parties will be supplied with the report of the Village Officer or of the concerned electricity department for effectual and proper adjudication of the controversy.
