JUDGMENT
Dated this the 1st day of July 2022 This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the following relief:
i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 2nd respondent, to consider the application of the petitioner Ext.P6 and to permit the change in the license, to that of the petitioner, without delay, in the interest of justice.
2. The writ petition was pending before this court from 13.6.2016 without securing any orders. However, today when the matter is taken up, Adv.Afeef representing the counsel for the petitioner Adv.G.Sreekumar (Chelur) submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of leaving open the liberty to petitioner to file a fresh application seeking change in the license for running the business before the second respondent - Secretary of the Municipality.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of recording the above submission.
