Anil K. Narendran, J.
By order dated 29.06.2022, this D.B.A. was disposed of granting approval to Annexure A1 format of the certificate that has to be enclosed along with the application for selection of Melsanthies of Sabarimala Sree Dharma Sastha Temple and Malikappuram Temple, showing the required experience of the certificate.
Registry was directed to list this D.B.A. today, as to be spoken to, based on the submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the Travancore Devaswom Board that the words 'a person having service as Santhi' occurring the 2nd line of paragraph 5, 2nd line of paragraph 13 and 6th line of paragraph 15 of the order dated 29.06.2022 have to be corrected as 'a person having service as Melsanthi', in view of the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court in Rajesh J Potty v. Travancore Devaswom Board [2018 (5) KHC 220].
Having considered the submissions made by the learned DBA No.5/2022 3/4 2 D.B.A.No.5 of 2022 Standing Counsel for the Travancore Devaswom Board and also the learned Senior Government Pleader, the order dated 29.06.2022 in D.B.A.No.5 of 2022 is recalled.
The learned Standing Counsel for the Travancore Devaswom Board to return certified copy of the order dated 29.06.2022 in this D.B.A. to Registry, today itself.
Registry to list this D.B.A. on 04.07.2022. The issuance of notification by the Travancore Devaswom Board for selection of Melsanthies of Sabarimala Sree Dharma Sastha Temple and Malikappuram Temple, shall be deferred for the time being.
