     This Contempt of court case (civil) having come up for orders on
25.08.2022, the court on the same day passed the following:

                        ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.

2. It is submitted by the learned Government Pleader on instructions that it was on account of a letter dated 07.05.2022 issued by the Government that orders had been passed by the Sub Collector.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the order dated 07.05.2022 stands stayed by this Court by order dated 23.08.2022 in W.P.(C). No.23903 of 2022.

In the above view of the matter, since the order dated 07.05.2022, on which reliance is placed is no longer valid, I am of the opinion that the issue is to be re-considered specifically in accordance with the directions Contempt Case (C) Nos.1232 of 2022 and connected cases. -:2:- contained in the judgment and the directions of the judgment by a Division Bench of this Court in Baby v. District Collector [2021 (6) KLT 316].

The learned Government Pleader submits that the matter will be re-considered and appropriate orders shall be passed in the matter.
