                             JUDGMENT

Admit. Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2 nd respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending before him in pursuance of Ext.P4 demand notice within a time frame. By Ext.P4 the 1st respondent had found that the petitioner is liable to pay additional stamp duty and was asked to submit his objections, if any. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P5 before the 1st respondent.

In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to hear the petitioner and finalise the proceedings initiated as per Ext.P4 demand notice at the earliest, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition along with a certified copy of this judgment before the 1 st respondent for compliance.
