JUDGMENT
The petitioner, working as Melsanthi of in a Chovva Siva Temple under Chirakkal Kovilakkam Devaswom under work arrangement, the term of which will expire on 31.04.2022. The petitioner prays for a direction to consider Ext.P3 representation in which he has prayed for permitting him to continue his service till permanent employees are appoint.
2. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for the 2 nd respondent.
3. Having heard the learned counsel on either side and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I direct the 3 rd respondent to take an appropriate decision on Ext.P3 representation submitted by the petitioner at the earliest, at any rate, within a WP(C) NO. 14939 OF 2022 3 period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The 3rd respondent may also consider engaging the petitioner on daily wages, till a regular appointment is made.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
