               BY SENIOR GOVERNMENT PLEADER SRI.K.B.RAMANAND

THIS WRIT PETITION (CRIMINAL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION
ON 04.01.2021, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE
FOLLOWING:
                            JUDGMENT

Dated this the 4th day of January, 2021 K. Vinod Chandran, J.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition alleging that the detenue, daughter of the 2nd respondent, is in the illegal custody of the mother. It is alleged that the petitioner and the detenue had decided to marry each other.

2. Learned Senior Government Pleader has got instructions in the matter. It is submitted by the learned Senior Government Pleader that the statement taken by the Police from the alleged detenue specifically indicates that she does not admit the relationship with the petitioner as alleged, but accepts the petitioner only as a friend. It is also specifically stated that the alleged detenue does not want to enter into a WP(Crl.).No.317 OF 2020 4 marriage without the consent of her parents.

In the said circumstances, we do not find any illegal detention, having taken place of the alleged detenue. Hence the above writ petition is closed.
