JUDGMENT
Dated this the 7th day of January 2021 The grievance of the petitioner herein is that Ext.P8 application filed by him for renewal is still pending. A counter affidavit has been filed stating that the application for renewal of permit has been marked for consideration and posted to be placed in the next RTO meeting. The prayer sought is that, due to the present pandemic situation, the RTO meetings are not being convened and hence, if for any reason, RTO meetings cannot be held, the decision may be taken by circulation under Rule 130 of the Kerala Motor Vehicles Rules.
2. When the matter was taken up, the learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted that subsequent to the filing of counter affidavit, it has been informed that the matter has now been sent for orders by circulation. Having considered this, I am inclined to close the WP(C).No.22911 OF 2020(L) 4 Writ Petition with a direction that appropriate decision on Ext.P8 shall be taken by circulation and complete the process at the earliest, not later than three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.
