JUDGMENT
Dated this the 7th day of January 2021 The petitioner is the owner of vehicle bearing registration No.KL 59/B 6549, which has been seized alleging illegal transportation of river sand. According to the petitioner, it is not river sand, but it is ordinary sand. The petitioner seeks direction to take sample of the sand in his presence from the vehicle for chemical analysis.
Having considered the plea as above, the 3 rd respondent is directed to take a sample of the sand in the presence of the petitioner and forward the sample for chemical analysis. Any expenses in this regard shall be met by the petitioner. Needful shall be done within two weeks. Based on the report, proceedings shall be concluded by the 1st respondent, without further delay thereon, after hearing the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
