JUDGMENT
Dated this the 4th day of January 2021 When the matter was taken up, the learned senior Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that, Ext.P5 temporary permit application can be placed before the next RTA meeting.
2. The renewal application as well as the application for variation filed as Ext.P3 and Ext.P4 respectively, will be considered, after getting report from the concerned Motor Vehicle Inspector, regarding the timings as well as the route length.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner has a grievance that in the light of the pandemic situation, the RTA meetings are not being convened and hence a time limit may be prescribed. The writ petition is liable to be disposed of with a direction that the RTA meeting shall be convened as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within an outer time limit of six weeks from the WP(C).No.29193 OF 2020(Y) 3 date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
