THIS OP (FAMILY COURT) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON
06.01.2021, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
 OP (FC).No.3 OF 2021

                                    2

                               JUDGMENT

Dated this the 6th day of January 2021 K.VINOD CHANDRAN, J.

The petitioner seeks early disposal of O.P.No.1016/2018, pending before the Family Court, Ernakulam. The O.P. filed before the Family Court seeks setting aside of a settlement deed and a declaration that the petitioner is the real owner and title holder of a property covered by a sale deed. The respondents are his wife and daughter. The petitioner by reason of his age seeks early disposal of the Original Petition pending before the Family Court. Though the matter has come up for admission today, we do not intend to issue notice in the nature of the directions we propose to pass herein.

2. The timely disposal of cases was impeded by the pandemic situation which has brought in regulations and protocols restricting crowding of people, as elsewhere, in court halls too. We do not find any reason to issue a positive direction. However, if the petitioner makes a petition for early disposal before the Family Court, considering his age, as also the pendency of other OP (FC).No.3 OF 2021 3 matters before that Court, the Family Court may take appropriate action.

With the above observation, the Original Petition stands disposed of.
