                             JUDGMENT

The petitioner has filed this Contempt Case alleging non- compliance of the direction contained in Annexure-1 judgment of this Court whereby the writ petition was disposed of by setting aside Ext.P10 order of the respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer to the extent indicated above and by directing the Tahsildar to effect consequential addition in the basic tax register concerning the properties of the petitioners referred to in Ext.P10 order dated 25.10.2018 of the respondent, taking note of the law laid down by the Division Bench of this Court in Local Level Monitoring Committee, Kizhakkambalam Grama Panchayat and others v. Mariumma and another [2015 (3) KHC 19] without referring to the provisions of Sections 27A or 27C of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that judgment.

2. On 14.07.2020, when this Contempt Case came up for admission, the learned Government Pleader sought time to get instructions.

3. On 10.08.2020, it was pointed out by the learned Con.Case(C) No.968 OF 2020 -3- Government Pleader that W.A.No.39 of 2020 filed against Annexure-1 judgment was pending before the Division Bench.

4. On 09.12.2020, it was pointed out by the learned Government Pleader that W.A.No.39 of 2020 filed against Annexure-1 judgment ended in dismissal and that, the respondent has already been instructed to comply with the direction contained in that judgment.

5. On 04.01.2021, when this case was taken up for consideration, the learned Government Pleader submitted that the respondent has complied with the direction contained in Annexure-1 judgment by issuing a proceeding dated 28.12.2020 and that, a copy of the same shall be placed along with a memo.

6. Today, when this case is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Pleader has placed on record a copy of the proceeding dated 28.12.2020 of the respondent, along with memo dated 05.01.2021.

In such circumstances, recording the said memo filed by the learned Government Pleader, this Contempt Case is closed.
