JUDGMENT
Dated this the 5th day of January 2021 The petitioner claims that he is the owner of a mini tipper lorry bearing registration No. KL 11 V 4278. This was seized alleging illegal transportation of the river sand.
2. The petitioner approached the 2 nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirur by Ext.P3 representation, dated 05.12.2020, to release his vehicle in terms of Section 23A (4) proviso of the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001. That application is pending before the 2nd respondent.
3. Having considered the pendency of the representation as above, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer to take WP(C).No.87 OF 2021(I) -3- a decision in the matter, within a period of two weeks, after notice to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
