                                 JUDGMENT

Dated this the 5th day of January 2021 The petitioner approached the 4th respondent with Ext.P7 application. Ext.P7 is an application to remove the land referred therein from the data bank. This is in the light of the report of the Agricultural Officer. The petitioner also pointed out that in the data bank it is recorded as a converted land. The petitioner wants to delete the entry in the data bank.

2. In view of the fact that the land is described as a converted land, it is appropriate to direct the 4 th respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P7 application to remove the entry from the data bank as a converted land. It shall be done within a period of one month. On removal of the entry, the 2nd respondent-The Revenue Divisional Officer shall consider the application submitted by the petitioner under Section 27A of Act 28 of 2008 vide Ext.P6. The Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to take a decision as expeditiously as WP(C).No.27452 OF 2020(F) 3 possible, at any rate, within a further period of two months, after hearing the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
