                            JUDGMENT

Dated this the 5th day of January 2021 The petitioner approached the Revenue Divisional Officer (sub - collector) under Sec.27A of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008 seeking correction in the BTR entry. The application was allowed vide Ext.P1 order. According to the petitioner, he had remitted necessary fee as per Ext.P1 order. However, it is submitted that no action was taken by the Revenue Authorities to effect changes in the revenue records. Rule 13 of the amended Rules under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Rules, 2008 clearly laid down the procedure for effecting changes. Based on the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, necessary changes have to be made by the Tahsildar based on the report of the Village Officer. In such circumstances, necessary action shall WP(C).No.28681 OF 2020(I) ..3..

be taken by the Tahsildar to effect changes, if the petitioner had already made the payment pursuant to Ext.P1 Order. Needful shall be done within a period of one month from receipt of a copy of this judgment.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
