                             JUDGMENT

Dated this the 26th day of February 2021 The petitioner is the Sales Assistant Grade-II in the Kerala State Co-operative Consumers Ltd. (Consumerfed) and at present working as Unit-in-charge of a supermarket in Malappuram Region. By Ext.P1 proceedings of the respondent, he has been transferred to Foreign Liquor Shop, Kodungallur. The petitioner contends that transfer to such a distant place is causing injury to him since, he has two children aged 16 years and 11 years and the aged parents-in-law are also residing with him. He has to cover more than 95kms distance to the transferred place. Accordingly, Ext.P3 representation has been submitted.

2. When the matter was taken up, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that Ext.P3 can be considered as expeditiously as possible. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the WP(C).No.4468 OF 2021(G) 3 petitioner has not been relieved . This is recorded.

Having considered this, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction that Ext.P3 representation shall be taken up and considered by the respondent on merits as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
