Dated this the 11th of August 2021 The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.276/2013 of Kozhikode Medical College Police Station. He did not appear and the matter is now pending as L.P.No.9/2019 on the files of the Additional District & Sessions Court-II, Kozhikode. The petitioner intends to appear before the jurisdictional court and cooperate with the trial. However, he apprehends that he may be incarcerated. There was no willful latches on his part for not appearing before the committal court. Therefore, the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court.
The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Additional District & Sessions Court-II, Kozhikode in L.P.No.9/2019 and apply for recalling the warrant and apply for bail. Two weeks time is granted to the petitioner to surrender before court, during which period, no coercive Crl.M.C.No. 3400 of 2021 3 steps shall be taken. The application for bail filed by the petitioner shall be considered and preferably disposed of on the very same day.
